About Us

RPW Group was founded in 1979 by Robert P. Weisz and has become one of Westchester and Fairfield County's largest commercial real estate developers. To date RPW's projects total in excess of 3,000,000 sq. ft. of office, retail, and warehouse space. RPW is currently the largest landlord of medical space in Westchester County excluding hospitals and rehab centers. Between 2002-03, RPW expanded its portfolio along the I-287 corridor with acquisitions in excess of $500,000,000.

Integrity is at the core of RPW's corporate philosophy, where a verbal agreement is as strong as a signed contract.

RPW does not seek the obvious. In its early years redevelopment opportunities were sought. Some of RPW's projects include a former RKO theater in New Rochelle, a longtime neighborhood eye-sore that was converted into a school and neighborhood shops. Another RKO this one in Mount Vernon is now restored and vital as offices and stores.

RPW gradually refined its ownership focus, emphasizing Class A office buildings. Seeking properties that are well located, but under achieving, RPW repositions each acquisition through good management, building upgrades, and quality tenant services value is created. An example in White Plains is a long-vacant 150,000 sq. ft. corporate headquaters recently reborn as 120 Bloomingdale Road - a state of the art office building. An announcement of a new RPW project is invariably met with leasing inquiries by tenants eager to commit based on RPW's track record.

A fully integrated company that manages and maintains all its properties, and is further enhanced by an in-house construction division. This resource eliminates one tier in the construction process and results in better communication, timely scheduling, superior quality control, and reduced costs.

This streamlined approach directly benefits tenants most notably in lower rental rates and helps to explain why its buildings are consistently close to %100 occupied.

A reputation for integrity has been built on quality projects and construction, fair rents, and outstanding service. This combination attracts tenants and keeps them and is the foundation on which RPW's future success is being built.
